Six Factors That May Convince You To Undergo The Microneedling Process

Blog

If you're suffering from a dermatology condition that's detracting from the appearance of your skin, you should know about the benefits offered by the microneedling process.

Microneedling involves puncturing the skin with small needles so that the skin is stimulated into repairing and healing itself. The following are six reasons why this dermatology technique might be perfect for resolving your problem:

Microneedling can improve the skin for patients suffering from a wide variety of conditions.

Basically any dermatological condition that causes scarring can be repaired with microneedling. Also, microneedling can be used to treat skin issues on just about any part of the body. It is most frequently used for conditions on the face, neck, and arms.

Microneedling stimulates the skin so that it begins producing new elastin and collagen.

When tiny needles are used to puncture the skin in the microneedling process, the skin will be stimulated in such a way that it naturally begins to produce collagen and elastin.

These two natural substances are important in fighting skin aging, replacing dead cells on the surface of the skin, and strengthening the skin.

Microneedling is a chemical-free skin treatment.

If you're concerned about bringing chemicals into your body, you should know that microneedling is a treatment that is free of chemicals. It is also free of lasers and gentle on the skin.

Microneedling does not cause pain or discomfort.

You don't have to suffer at all to achieve beauty with the microneedling process. This process is generally painless. The sensation of being lightly prickled by needles during the process can take some getting used to, but it doesn't cause pain.

Usually, the microneedling process doesn't require any anesthetic, but anesthetic may sometimes be used for particularly extensive treatments.

Microneedling can work on any skin type.

Some dermatology treatments- laser treatments in particular- can only be used to treat skin issues for people with certain skin tones. A laser treatment is most effective on patients with a lighter skin tone.

On the other hand, microneedling works the same and generally has the same effectiveness  on individuals with any skin tone type.

A microneedling treatment can be custom-designed to meet each patient's unique needs.

If you've got a combination of different skin issues to treat, microneedling offers a versatile and comprehensive treatment. This dermatology treatment can reduce a range of problems like large pores, scarring, wrinkles, and skin discoloration.

It's a natural, all-in-one treatment that can be custom-designed to meet each individual patient's needs exactly. Talk to a doctor, like Azalea Skin Treatment Center, for more help.

Never Ignore an Unusual Skin Change

When I was a teenager, I loved sunbathing to keep a golden tan. My family had no history of skin cancer, so I thought my skin was "invincible" to sun damage. Years later, as an adult, I noticed an unusual patch of skin on my arm. I had no idea what it was, but thankfully, I made an appointment with my GP to get it checked out. She referred me to a dermatologist who diagnosed me with very early stage skin cancer that could be treatable with a simple cream. I was very lucky that the cream worked, but if I had waited to visit the dermatologist until my skin cancer was more advanced, I would have had to have surgery to remove it. I decided to start a blog to share my story and post tips about skin health. Please come back often and learn more about skin!
